More from Paris

It's 6:30 pm on Tuesday and I have come to the conclusion that I have seen more people fall on this trip than I ever have in my entire life. The first day we were here, some woman fell off her bike, in the opera house, there was a man rushing to give his ticket and he tripped up the last step and landed face flat on the marble, some man tripped and fell getting on to the metro and someone in our group fell up the stairs twice. It's really hard not to laugh at their expense.
Yesterday we went Mont Marte. It is the place where St. Denis carried his head for three days after being beheaded then dropped dead. It was a perfect village, Jonny Depp had a house there and I took pictures of a pink and green house which I wanted to move into right then and there. I cannot even describe how beautiful the view was from on top of the hill. I have pictures! A bunch of us got Gelatte too which was really yummy.
Today,I was one of a few select students were cool enough to be invited to lunch with the professors in the Eiffel Tower (just kidding for all those who didn't go) Once again, the view was wonderful and pictures were taken. After that, Sexi Lexi and I attempted to go shopping in Madeline but were just too tired and worn out to try things on. I cannot believe I have only spent money on one pair of shoes, food and admission. My mom is going to be so proud of me. Lexi and I found our way home on the metro by ourselves which was pretty cool but my feet hurt. Paris Metro system is so much better than New Yorks subway system. The last thing I want to do two days after I get back is travel into the city for work. I am excited that I get to see my dad however :-)
Not sure what the plans are for later, prob some din din with the cool cats then Peanuts (the bar by our hotel)
Tommorow's plans have yet to be decided, but whatever it will be, I am sure it will be depressing because it is our last day in this beautiful city. I don't really want to go home at all, as long as I can keep Lexi and Jenny here with me.

Paris is amazing

So far in my 3 days in Paris, I have seen, Versaille, Norte Dame, The Louvre, the Gardens, the opera house (where Phantom of the Opera took place), and these really creepy catacombs where thousands of skeletons from the 17 and 1800's in a graveyard were dug up and replaced. I have also eaten at some really great places including a charming cafe on the street and the latin corrider which is probably my one of my favorite places so far.
There is a bar across the street from our hotel called Peanuts where many people seemed to enjoy themselves a little too much last night. Pretty sure the bartenders hate us. Crazy Americans.
About 15 of us trecked to the louvre at 9 am this morning (hangovers and all) with as little as 2 hours of sleep. But it was all worth it when we came face to face with the Mona Lisa. I swear she has a personality.
Although I am running on very little sleep, it is very worth it to get up and start the day early and take in as much as possible.
Tomrrow, we are going to Jim Morrison's Grave and possibly doing some shopping. If you know me, then you know how excited I am.
If you want to see some great pictures, check out Lexi and Dan's blogs. I will get my pictures up soon.
Yay for sleep.
